Anna-Linnea Hytönen praises TSV's working atmosphere and colleagues

Anna-Linnea ”Ansku” Hytönen, who works as a painter at TSV-Rakennus, says the best thing about her job is the hands-on work and great colleagues.

What is the job of a painter?

My job includes all the basic tasks of a painter: levelling, painting, floor coating, wallpapering and exterior painting.

What is a painter’s typical working day like?

My working day varies, as it is always determined by the objects and the work: it is done in stages, so one day you can be focused on sanding and the next on painting.

What kind of projects have you been involved in?

Recently, I have worked on projects such as Tornio Town Hall and Niilontalo, new buildings in Länsirinte, Kemi Psychiatric Hospital and a few apartment blocks. There are also some other smaller projects where I do wallpapering, for example.

What is the best part of your job?

Working with my hands and my colleagues. We have a terrific team of painters at TSV, five of whom are regulars – all top-notch, humorous and easy-going people. Sometimes we work together, sometimes on different sites. Also, in general, there’s a really good team spirit between all the workers at TSV and on the sites.

Why apply to work at TSV?

TSV has good colleagues and supervisors. You get to do all sorts of things and be involved in different projects.
