Originally built in the 1970s, Tornio Town Hall underwent a magnificent renovation. The windows, technology, doors and all interior surfaces were replaced. The accessibility of the toilets was also improved by bringing them into line with the invasion regulations. The city will be able to better concentrate its activities in the building and to support this, the break-out rooms, lounge area, meeting rooms and council chamber were also renovated. The interior designer is JKMM Arkkitehdit Oy.
